I know how you feel. I used to lay awake at night wondering if I was doing a good enough job… wondering how my 3 boys would turn out.
I was working long hours building my business and, having not had the best example of what to do as a father when I was a kid, I worried.
My eldest son, Harley was born just months before my martial arts school was. I was growing a new business and trying to raise a son, while also dealing with the challenges of a new marriage and secretly wondering if I was good enough at any of it.
In spite of many leadership successes, as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, in college, as a US Army Officer, and then in business- plus multiple Blackbelts and other accomplishments in the martial arts by this time....
none of that had prepared me for the challenges of raising my sons.

Or at least it sometimes felt that way.
Today, having produced hundreds of Confident and competent Blackbelt leaders, including my sons, I know what works and what doesn't.
My sons, like all my Blackbelts, are products of the process, and in fact my eldest is one of the Master Instructors at the school.
Turns out that I raised them along with my dojo, and also myself ,over the decades I've run my school.
And now I enjoy fathering them as grown men.

In this course, I am going to teach YOU how to do the same for your kids!
To father them for life, and instill in them the focus, respect, discipline, confidence, gratitude and vision they will need to be successful at whatever they grow up to do- and even how to help them discover and develop what that calling is!
We are so blessed to be called to be their fathers! Fathering isn't easy; but it is the greatest of all our leadership goals!
I'll teach you the tools and techniques I've used to produce all those confident Blackbelts and my own sons...
and I'll also share all the things I wish I would have known then; back when I was struggling to build my business and raise my kids up in the way they should go.

In module one, Fathering for Life, I’ll share lessons learned from both my victories, and my lessons learned- the things I look back on and wish I would have done differently- all towards the end of what are our 2 biggest goals as fathers:
1. To do a good job. Ultimately, we want to prepare our kids to live positive, productive, fulfilling, and successful lives in adulthood.
2. We want to do this in the way where we will truly be invited to father for life. One of my greatest pleasures, for all the leadership responsibilities that I have, is when my grown kids will come to me for advice, coaching, mentorship, and modeling in some area of their life that they’re growing through. I know you want that too.
In module two, I will teach you how to instill and develop the 6 "Blackbelt Superpowers” that I write about in my book, and that I have used to grow kids into confident, competent, and inspired leaders at my academy for over 22 years!
1. Focus- The ability to block out distractions and concentrate on what’s important.
2. Respect for self and others.
3. Discipline- The bridge between goals and accomplishment.
4. Confidence- Because rather you think you can or think you can’t; you’re right.
5. Gratitude- The attitude of gratitude creates peace and attracts more to be grateful for.
6. Vision- Goal setting and visualization skills to create an amazing future.
And, in module 3, I will share secrets I’ve used to help hundreds discover their passion, purpose and calling in life.
We know that, as Thoreau told us, “Most men live lives of quiet desperation.”
Without oversimplifying the many reasons the quote may ring true, I believe that a big part of it is that many, or even most, aren’t fulfilling the calling they’re called to do.
Module three will help you answer that question, if you need to, and help you help your ds to do the same- so that they may live successful, fulfilling and content lives!
Knowing they are using their passions and unique abilities- their own unique “superpowers” gifted them to make their mark upon the world!
This creates a life of purpose and progress- which is a life well lived.
